Description
Clipping reads: "Jack Powell goes Western! The snare drum artist of the Casa Manana revue demonstrates his method of shoeing a horse--by 'playing' a snappy tune on the horse's hoof. All very well, if the horse doesn't mind." Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, October 14, 1936. Powell is described as a Vaudeville trick-drummer and is seen wearing blackface with a white linen chef's outfit and chef's hat. [Negative is deteriorated.]
