Description
H. S. Jones, co-pilot of the refueling plane for Reg L. Robbins and James Kelly's Endurance Hop, Fort Worth, Texas, before the flight, May 1929. Robbins and Kelly piloted a Ryan Monoplane B-1 Brougham named "Fort Worth" and were refueled from another Ryan, co-piloted by K. K. Hoffman and H. S. Jones, during the Endurance Flight. The refueling was done from the second Ryan owned by the Midland Oil Company of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
