Lot being cleared by mules and horse-drawn wagons for the new YMCA in downtown Fort Worth, ca. 1920-1923. Elizabeth Scott, widow of Winfield Scott, was persuaded by Amon G. Carter, Sr. to donate the site of the old Scott homestead for the building.
