Reg L. Robbins and James Kelly with wives and others (far right is Amon G. Carter next to Lady Mary Heath, noted British aviatrix) celebrating finish of world's endurance flight record at Meacham Field, Fort Worth, Texas. Reg L. Robbins' father is at far left, Mrs. Gladys Robbins and Mrs. Murah Kelly are each seen to the right of their husbands. Mary, Lady Heath (November 17, 1896-May 9, 1939) was an Irish aviator and was one of the best known women in the world for a five-year period from the mid-1920s. Amon Giles Carter Sr. (born Giles Amon Carter; December 11, 1879-June 23, 1955) was the creator and publisher of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, and a nationally known civic booster for Fort Worth, Texas.
