Description
The NASA Columbia Space Shuttle lands in one of the slides University of Texas at Arlington alumni Kalpana Chawla showed during a presentation at UTA's Fort Worth Riverbend Campus. The slide presentation was of her first space voyage in 1997 and the inspiration she had from the Orion constellation. Chawla earned a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering at UTA in 1984.
