Two people kneel on a panel of quilt on display for the NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt 1993 Display in the West Texas Room of the Amon G. Carter Jr. Exhibits Hall at the Will Rogers Complex in Fort Worth. An estimated 7,500 people viewed the Quilt, which included 1,700 panels and was the first major showing of the quilt in Tarrant County. More than 100 new panels and epitaphs, many of them locally made, were added to the cloth memorial before the exhibit closed.
