Description
In trenches dug near Blue Beach, U.S. soldiers scan the Vietnamese countryside during an operation to capture and question Viet Cong suspects. This was taken during Operation Double Eagle, a U.S. Marine Corps and Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN) operation that took place in southern Quang Ngai Province, South Vietnam, during the Vietnam War. The unit made a landing on a Vietnam beach then moved inland to seek out members of the Viet Cong.
