Description

U.S. Marines make a dawn landing from the USS Paul Revere in the South China Sea for Operation Double Eagle, a U.S. Marine Corps and Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN) operation that took place in southern Quang Ngai Province, South Vietnam, during the Vietnam War. The Marine unit made a landing on a Vietnam beach then moved inland to seek out members of the Viet Cong.
