Description
U.S. Marine Corps Private First Class Edward F. Bean of Garland, Texas cleans off a rifle after leading troops in combat during Operation Double Eagle, a U.S. Marine Corps and Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN) operation that took place in southern Quang Ngai Province, South Vietnam, during the Vietnam War. The unit made a landing on a Vietnam beach then moved inland to seek out members of the Viet Cong.
