Photographs. The P. D. Henry, Jr. Photograph Collection is primarily comprised of images of downtown Fort Worth office buildings, commercial and industrial properties, street scenes, and aerial views. Prominent among them are the Burk Burnett, First National Bank, Life of America, and Transamerican Life buildings; and Commerce, Eighth, Main, and Throckmorton Streets. Of particular note is a series of four photographs documenting the exterior remodeling of City National Bank in Dallas. An undated photograph of a U. S. Navy dirigible is also included. The work of W. D. Smith, Inc., Commercial Photography dominates the collection, but also included are photographs by Associated Pictures, Clements, Douglas Elliott, Fort Worth Photographic Laboratories, and Jernigan Photo Service.
