    Description

    Poster depicting a sign for Greater Fort Worth International Airport, also known as Amon Carter Field, named after Amon Giles Carter, which opened in 1953. The airport was later renamed Greater Southwest International Airport. The sign consists of an arrow labeled "Entrance," and beneath that "The Greater Fort Worth International Airport," and "Amon Carter Field." There is grass on the ground beneath the sign. The poster is drawn and colored to look like a neon sign. "Entrance" is in orange lettering with the arrow outlined in yellow; "The Greater Fort Worth" is in blue lettering; "International Airport" is orange and "Amon Carter Field" is yellow.
