The papers include news clippings, correspondence, Vmail, POW camp newsletters, photographs, scrapbook pages, keepsakes and manuscript maps. Correspondence documents the experiences of two WWII pilots and an army paratrooper, and the home front experience in Dallas, TX. Included in the correspondence are War Department telegrams and POW correspondence.
