Kenneth L. Whitt Papers

This collection contains correspondence, photographs, questionnaires, biographies, notes, Shorthorn reproductions, copies of the Aggie Dormocrat and the Grubonian, Shorthorn staff reunion guestbook, and tape recordings. The collection is comprised of materials gathered in researching Whitt's thesis, The Shorthorn, 1919-1969: A History of a Student Newspaper. Interesting observations on campus life and working on the Shorthorn through the years can be found in the letters and questionnaires from former Shorthorn editors and faculty advisors. Biographies are also included of Arlington College founders Lee Morgan Hammond, Edward Emmett Rankin, and William M. Trimble.
