Description
Murals in the U.S. Post Office at 251 W. Lancaster Avenue. The post office contains six New Deal murals funded by the Public Works of Art Project (PWAP) in 1934. The artists are W. H. Baker and Dwight Holmes. There are three paintings on each of the east and west walls of the office. The murals each illustrate an aspect of the history of communication by mail.
