James Edward Long was the resident director of the Guerrero Iron and Timber Company and an active committee member of the American Colony at Mexico City. Collection materials include correspondence, photographs, and ephemera collected by James Edward Long. The materials reveal North American economic and political involvement in Mexico prior to and after the outbreak of the Mexican Revolution.
