The International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union (ILGWU) represented workers in the women and children's apparel industries. Local 214 was the local affiliate of the ILGWU in Houston, Texas and was founded in 1935. Records document the activities of Local 214 and include financial records, rosters, scrapbook clippings, newsletters, minutes, and photographs.
