Collection contains legal documents, photographs, bulletins, newspapers, and a letter. Legal documents, 1839-1900, pertain to the founding of Arlington College and include a deed to land on which Arlington College was founded, two shares of stock in Arlington College, a Republic of Texas land grant certificate issued to Thomas Smith, and a notary public commission for E.E. Rankin. Also included are North Texas Agricultural College bulletins of the Fine Arts Division, 1938-1942; photos of Art classes, 1939-1950; and issues of the Arlington Journal, 1898-1901, 1927, 1948.
