    Description

Image showing a high-angle view of a large group of servicemen performing manual labor on the grounds of a military base. The men are using shovels and pickaxes to dig a long ditch or line in the lawn in front of two two-story barracks buildings. The image features a handwritten inscription on the back that reads, "What is known as a platoon on C. P. or Company Punishment on a Monday evening. This is a view of our front lawns. This is not P.W.A. but C.P. Boxing ring in center."
