Letter from DeLancey Floyd-Jones to his sister Helen "Nel" from on board a ship. The letter describes sailing through a hurricane on September 9 through 11 of 1846 and rescuing the crew of the schooner Anna Maria, including one crew member from the McCloud, which sank during the storm.
