Communications Workers of America, Local 6215 Records

Founded in 1938, the Communications Workers of America (CWA) is a national labor union that was originally comprised mainly of workers in the telephone industry. In December 1950, Local 6215 was formed in Dallas, Texas. Collection materials consist primarily of minutes of the executive board and the local membership meetings and also include correspondence, legal documents, convention records, reports, newspaper clippings, bulletins, constitution and bylaws, and photographs.
