Description
Papier-mache sculpture created by Paul Griffin for the Texas Christian University production, "One Touch of Venus" in Spring 1956. Griffin notes that he "started with chicken wire base & built it up with strings of newspaper/paste. Clothing was draped fabric dipped in paste solution. Hands were made from borrowed mannequin hands (from Monnig's) used as a mold covered with paper mache & carefully removed as a shell."
