Abstract

This study investigated the contributions of NGOs to health in the developing world and well investigated the influence of organizational factors on an NGOs contribution to health. The researcher examined the health contributions of 210 NGOs with consultative status with the United Nations. The number of sectors and networks an NGO had was found to influence the health contributions of NGOs. HLM was used to examine the interaction between organizational and environmental factors on health contribution. There was no significant interaction found between these to factors.
