Abstract
This thesis addresses the problem of finding stresses and displacements in an infinite plate with a two dimensional circular inclusion with different material properties using complex variable method with biaxial loading acting on it. The complex variable method is used so that the continuity equations of traction force and displacement field are satisfied at the interface .All the complex equations are solved using software Mathematica.
