Abstract
The concept of time-frequency analysis of the scattered far field data from multiple targets is presented. The scattered data from the target is collected using a mono-static antenna configuration. The hardware system and the data acquisition system used in the process are discussed in detail. The results obtained using the ISAR imaging algorithm are presented and the effect of different non-point and dispersive scattering phenomena on these images are discussed. A physics based time-frequency analysis using wavelets is done on this scattered data to reduce the inter-target interactions and thereby produce cleaner images of the target under consideration. The results obtained after time-frequency analysis are presented. The effects of different kinds of wavelets and their support length on different targets are discussed.
