As hundreds of children from 12 Red Feather Community Chest agencies gazed with upturned faces at the brilliant lights of the Star-Telegram community Christmas tree, Russel R. Rine, at left on platform, read Henry Van Dyke's "Keeping Christmas." The picture shows only a small cross-section of the crowd which attended the tree ceremonies and music festival in Burk Burnett Park. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition August 13, 1950.
