Two air cadets from Switzerland attended the 17th National Soaring Contest at Grand Prairie. The two cadets, are shown presenting Mrs. Emmadean Berry with a Swiss flag. Left to right are Cadets Oskar Scherrer and Erich Nacht, and Mrs. Berry, a native of Bowie, and manager of the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce. Published in the evening edition, August 11, 1950.
