    Description

    Ronald Smoot, 14, right, is shown consoling his brother, Eddie, 15, who shot to death their father in the family apartment at Fort Worth as a climax to an argument between the father and mother. The boy fired three.22 caliber rifle slugs into Edgar Smoot, 38, a T7P Railway brakeman, at about 7:40 pm Monday, January 7. The picture was taken outside the county probation office, where disposition of the case was being discussed. Published in the morning edition, January 9, 1952.
