The eigth annual North Fort Worth Pioneer Days Celebration and Rodeo got off to a colorful start Thursday with a parade which continued for five miles over downtown and North Side streets. A near-capacity crowd turned out for the first night rodeo, climaxing the day's activities which included naming a queen and a street dance. Margie Winn, 17, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Winn of 1222 Virginia Place., was named queen for the Four-day celebration. Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning edition May 3, 1963
