The 6.5 million contract for construction of the Kimbell Art Museum was signed and will be finished in 1971. Looking up in unison are, left to right, Preston Geren Sr., associate architect; Tom Seymour, representing Thos, S. Byrne Construction Co.; A. L. Scott Kimbell Art Foundation board of trustees’ president; and primary architect, Louis Kahn. Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning May 4, 1969.
