Description
Mrs. Madeira Manchester was Fort Worth's first "Naughty Marietta" in "opera under the stars' of 36 years ago. She recalls climbing a 10 foot ladder in panniered skirts and coiffed wig for one stage entrance. "Naughty Mareitta" returns after 36 year in Casa Manana's production of Victor Herbert operetta for a two-week run. Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning edition July 14, 1969.
