Description
Jim Shafer, left, and Walter Sherrill display some of the many "fashions from around the world" that are available at John L. Ashe. Not only does the store feature such imported lines as Gino Paolin Parker of Vienna, Countess Mara and Cortefiel, it also takes the best of European fashion and has them adopted to Texas tastes by American manufacturers. Among other featured lines are Oxxford, Kuppenheimer, Baker and Strattford for clothing and sportswear and Johnston and Murphy shoes. Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning edition September 13, 1968.
