Fort Worth's new Southeast Branch Library was opened with the arrival of Mary Poppins in an antique car. Mary Poppins was Miss Kay Wilcox, children's librarian at the $161,000 facility. She is shown in the children's section with Byron Payne, 5, and Charlotte Rayford, 6. Shelves at the branch hold 19,000 volumes. Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning edition June 1, 1967.
