Sandra Sayre, 19-year-old Texas Christian University, freshman and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Sayre, won a $300 scholarship to the American Federation of Music Congress of Strings in competition at Texas Christian University. The annual event is sponsored by the Fort Worth Musicians Union. Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning edition May 18, 1967.
