Portrait of Roy E. White. He is a retired contractor and an art veteran. He was born in Pennsylvania and moved to Fort Worth in 1907. He has been a member of the Fort Worth Art Association since 1908. He was on the committee that in 1924 purchased the Fort Worth museum's most famous painting, "The Swimming Hole" by Thomas Eakins. Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning February 5, 1967.
