Description
One of Fort Worth's best-known artists, Emily Guthrie Smith, has her first one-man show at the Fifth Avenue Gallery from February 14, 1960 to March 12, 1960. It includes 26 paintings and a ring. Her scope goes from portraiture to oil paintings, to still-life, to mosaics, and even landscapes. Mrs. Smith studies art at Texas Woman's University and at the Oklahoma Art Students League and teaches art at the Fort Worth Art Center and in Taos, New Mexico.
