Mrs. Laidlaw Palmer, right, who won "best of class" in the water color division of the Woman's Club Art Department spring exhibition, and Mrs. Joe R. Wise, chairman of the department, whose oil, "Dixie", received the popular vote award, display their decorated winners. Mrs. Wise also received "best of class" award in the glass techniques section of the show. Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening edition May 24, 1965.
