Durward McDonald Jr., left, president of West Side Kiwanis Club, gives a $1,000 check from the club to Walter L. Douning, one of 12 vice chairman in Casa Manana's red seat campaign. Part of the donation, largest yet received in the campaign, will buy red seats at the theater-in-the-round at $100 a piece. Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening edition October 27, 1965.
