Papers contain photographs and a photocopy of a typescript by Clyde Johnson. The photographs, 1942-1944, depict members of various South Texas locals of the Oil Workers International Union. The typescript, "The CIO Oil Workers Organizing Campaign in Texas, 1942-1943," is a paper written by Johnson for the 1976 Southern Labor History Conference at Georgia State University in Atlanta. Also included is a copy of Boomtown Bill, a song written by Woody Guthrie in 1942.
