Abstract
The booth focuses on existential therapy and how it can improve people’s lives, with suggestions on implementing strategies from it into their daily lives to improve wellbeing. We cover tips on dealing with the common and normal experience of a "quarter-life crisis" that many college-age people face, especially after graduation. We explain a tool called the “Symbolic Growth Experience,” which examines how people can find meaning and grow through painful experiences. We also share ideas and information on dealing with the loss of loved ones and something that may not be well known called prolonged grief disorder. Participants get to play an interactive "Would You Rather?" game that will encourage one to look inward and examine their values and priorities in life. You will be immersed in a far-out galaxy experience as you safely ponder and posit the most enlightening (or frightening!) thought-provoking questions in life.
